Where’s The Sheep? – I Will Go

After a pretty long time of not having seen this duo live, I was able to watch them again last Saturday at Grateful Hearts, Greater Love!, and boy, I have never been prouder.

What we watched was no longer just “singer Mike Shimamoto and guitarist Hero Mauricio,” but a band that has found their unique sound as they share God’s grace through their beautiful music.

A Fundraising Concert that was All for Love

It was the 6th of December, the night for All for Love: Pagbangon Gikan sa Dilubyo, a fundraising concertfor the benefit of typhoon Yolanda victims.

Route 196’s sign was not that big but that night, the letters and numbers on it screamed.  Their impact was even intensified by the redness and whiteness of its font, standing out against the black background that almost merged with the blackness of the night sky. Below it, there was another sign containing the names of the performers for the night: Johnoy Danao, Mike Shimamoto, She’s Only Sixteen and more.

Where’s The Sheep? – I Am Home

A song that’s not just good, but also inspiring and enlightening to the soul. 🙂 )

Bihira ‘yong mga gan’on. 😀

“Cause you’ve taught me how to hold the sun
And you’ve walked that shore into my arms
And at the end you’ve shown me I am home…”

I Am Home

Hands down.

Masaya rin ‘yong performance nina Yumi & Thyro. Astig sobra, nagulat pa kami nang kaibigan ko n’ong malaman naming original ‘yong kinakanta nila. Looking forward to so much more awesomeness from these two. 🙂

Okay rin ‘yong performance ng Never the Strangers. 🙂

Looking forward to more awesomeness and genuine happiness only OPM can give to us Pinoys. Mabuhay ang OPM! 😀
